Frequently Asked Questions:

If I don't own an e-book reader, can I still buy an electronic version of Depth of Deception?
Absolutely! You can purchase a PDF version. Also you can download and install free e-book readers for computers such as Adobe Digital Editions which reads Epub (Apple iPad/iBooks, Nook, Sony Reader, Kobo, and most e-reading apps including  Stanza, Aldiko, Adobe Digital Editions, and others).  If you'd prefer Kindle, you can download the free Kindle for PC, or for Mac users: Kindle for Mac to read .mobi files.

Is there an App for e-books?
Yes, there are free Apps available for the various smartphones or tablets to read Kindle, Nook, Kobo, etc
files.  Check with your app provider for your device.

How do you autograph an e-book?
I can use a permanent marker on your device screen. ;-)    Just kidding!!
Actually, I received this question a lot, when we  announced that as our prize for the Virtual Book Launch. With the new technology from Autography, I'm able to insert a personalized message after the cover page
of the e-book. If you would like to purchase an autographed e-book or if you've already purchased one it can still be autographed.

Will there be a hardcopy of Depth of Deception available to buy?
Yes, it's now available as a softcover from Amazon.com.

Why did you set Depth of Deception in 1982 instead of present day?
There were three reasons why I set it in 1982. First, because it was important for the story to have some Titanic survivors still alive and somewhat active. Millvina Dean, the last survivor of Titanic, died in 2009. Whereas, back in 1982 there were several survivors still alive. Secondly, DNA analysis was a new and unproven science
back then, and I needed to keep Myra's identity a mystery for as long as I could. If this were a modern-day crime drama, they would have tried that first.  Third, it was fun to write an adventure set in the not-so-distant past, before everyone had mobile phones, internet, social media and instant messaging. There's a certain amount of suspense when our heroes simply don't have that easy communication at their fingertips, don't you think?
