"This is one of the books you have to read for 2012. I more than enjoyed it. I couldn’t stop reading it and completed it in one day. Needless to say, I didn’t get a lot done. You have to check this book out. It was wonderful, and if I say anything else I’ll ruin it."

- Rebecca Graf

"Alexander Galant has created a thrilling murder mystery: One with countless cliffhangers and suspense, but no foreshadowing that could hint to what will really happen next. It's also surprising that this marvelous tale is his fiction debut."

"È una lettura che consiglio agli amanti delle storie ricche di mistero, che però non disdegnino lasciarsi andare ogni tanto alla semplice accettazione dell’inspiegabile. Davvero un ottimo libro."

("It is a reading that I recommend to lovers of stories full of mystery, but who do not disdain to let go sometimes to the simple acceptance of the inexplicable.
Really a great book.")

Galant makes debut with a Titanic murder mystery
Article in Mississauga News - June 25, 2012

It’s never a bad idea to go with your strengths, whatever the endeavour. A few years ago, Alexander Galant did the historical research for the novel Dracula the Un-dead, which became a 2009 New York Times bestseller.
So when the Meadowvale resident decided to try his hand at writing a novel himself, he naturally drew on those skills. The result is Depth of Deception, which combines history, mystery and murder.
